      -Mac OS: The advantages to a Mac OS is security, reliability and advanced technology while the disadvantages include a heftier price tag, a very limited gaming option and an operating system that does not accommodate upgrades or customization. 
      -Windows: Windows can run on nearly any processor. (It is generally recommended that Linux users install the OS on machines than have Intel processors, though support for AMD is also coming through now).
      -Linux: Most Linux distros are free….. users do not need to pay for a copy, but this is only one aspect of freedom enjoyed by Linux users! In addition, Linux distros can be freely downloaded and legally installed on as many computers as you want and freely (and legally) given to other people.

    3.Penemu Komputer Pertama Charles Babbage. Dikenal sebagai salah satu pelopor atau penemu dari dari komputer pertama kali. Charles Babbage merupakan salah seorang ilmuwan di dunia yang tercatat sebagai penemu Komputer Pertama, yang telah banyak memberikan karyanya pada kehidupan manusia, khususnya bidang komputer.     Second generation computers used the low level language i.e. machine level language and assembly language which made the programmers easier to specify the instructions. Later on High level language programming were introduced such as COBOL and FORTRAN. Magnetic core was used as primary storage. Second generation computer has faster input /output devices which thus brought improvement in the computer

    1. Generasi pertama menggunakan tube vakum untuk memproses dan menyimpan data, sehingga komputer tersebut berukuran besar. Setiap komputer memiliki kode biner yang berbeda sehingga sulit untuk diprogram dan membatasi kecepatannya. Generasi ini berlangsung dari tahun 1940 sampai 1959. Sedangkan generasi kedua adanya penemuan transistor yang menggantikan tabung vakum sehingga ukuran komputer lebih kecil. Bahasa pemrograman ditemukan pada generasi ini. Generasi kedua berlangsung tahun 1959 sampai 1964.
    3. J. Presper Eckert dan John William Mauchly pada tahun 1946 yang menemukan ENIAC.
    5.Generasi ke 3 menggunakan integrated circuit, ukuran komputer di generasi ini lebih kecil dari komputer generasi 2. Sedangkan komputer generasi 4 menggunakan mikroprosesor yang merupakan penggabungan dari ribuan integrated circuit. Komputer pada masa ini harganya murah sehingga dimulai adanya penjualan personal komputer.

    The idea of early computer users having an entire processor to themselves was just a fantasy. The first computer networks had all the processing power in a central mainframe, or server, to which individual workstations would connect. Each workstation would then get a limited amount of time to send work to the central processor. Personal computers have made such arrangements unnecessary, but the terms persist. A workstation is a personal computer, and servers are the central machines that provide data to workstations

    1) The fourth generation computers have microprocessor-based systems.
    2) They are the cheapest among all the computer generation.
    3) The speed, accuracy and reliability of the computers were improved in fourth generation computers.
    4) Many high-level languages were developed in the fourth generation such as COBOL, FORTRAN, BASIC, PASCAL and C language.
    5) A Further refinement of input/output devices was developed.
    6) Networking between the systems was developed.

    IBM 4341, DEC 10, STAR 1000, PUP 11 and APPLE II are the examples of fourth generation computers.
